RESEARCH: 

     Deterministic Information  Theory, measurement of entropy, information, complexity in strings, symbolic dynamics, coding, self-synchronizing variable-length codes (T-codes),  compression. (T-codes T-ccomplexity resources)
	Deterministic IT: UNIX software (tcalc.c implicitly distributed under the terms and conditions of the GNU license) for computing the T-complexity, T-information and T-entropy of finite strings.  To compile: "gcc -lm -O3 tcalc.c -o tcalc", To run, first try: "tcalc -h" to get help.
	Applications of Deterministic Information Theory in biological/medical areas. e.g. EEG/EOG/EMG/ECG (pictures coming).
	   The Entropy Pages  are an incomplete but developing set of web pages devoted specifically to the measurement of information and entropy of finite files. There is also a tutorial page for Deterministic IT in progress.
     Information visualisation: SpOd (Space Odyssey) is a graphical visualisation tool, supports 3D surfaces, line and point graphs and traces, together with a variety of display and animation modes. Written primarily for use in a UNIX environment, but not limited to this, SPoD allows one to access the power of OpenGL but without the pain of programming. It takes lists and arrays of floating numbers with brief header prescriptions to render objects  in a virtual 3D volume for convenient/flexible viewing. SpoD supports up to 100,000 line graphs.
